The trace is the once that comes from the center, and then swoops towards the board over the PTO. The 2 boards (enclosed ceramic variety) are the same. QUESTION In my visual overview, I noticed that on the 2nd switch wafer on the 'slave' bandswitch shaft (the one inside the aluminum shield with PTO) has a cut trace.
but will restore the dial pointer too of course. Bungee cord coming to repair the dial, but also found the 244 digital readout, it's on the way. Has the CW filter, Noise Blanker but not the 2 extra 10m crystals. and low and behold, she fired up and so far just on Signal Generator, works on all bands.
and was given a nice discount for the leap of faith! Did the PTO removal, disassembly, clean and lube and reassemble. apparently 20 years under the desk without being touched did NOT do it any good. Only problem was the PTO was stuck solid. had 262 speaker / power supply, Shure mic, J38 key etc. Found a nice little Triton IV / 540 on Craigslist of all places.
